How to install MacOS 10:12 Sierra on unsupported Macs

On June 14, Apple released MacOS 10:12 Sierra with many attractive new features such as Siri, Video Picture-in-Picture, or copy between iDevice and Mac. However there may be some of you who can not install the new version due to device compatibility (models before 2009 will not work). Fortunately, there's still a way to "break the law", and this following article will guide you how to create the settings for streaming 10:12 MacOS on unsupported Macs.

Supported Macs
  • iMac (late-2009 and later)
  • MacBook (late-2009 and later)
  • MacBook Pro (2010 and later)
  • MacBook Air (2010 and later)
  • Mac mini (2010 and later)
  • Mac Pro (2010 and later)
Preparation
  • USB (minimum 8 GB)
  • MacOs Patcher Tool
  • MacOS Sierra 10.12 Install Package
  • Extract the package into "Install 10.12 Developer Preview.app"
Process
Plug the USB into the computer, open Disk Ultility application, select the USB then select “Erase”


Format your USB, then open MacOS Sierra Patcher Tool. Click on Browse ... and then point to the installation path MacOS Sierra 10:12 decompressed above


You have succeeded if you see

In the Select target volume, choose your USB and click Start Operation ..., if the notice appears, click YES and then enter your computer password.


Boot to your USB



Click to choose Ultilities - Disk Ultility



Select the drive you want to install Mac OS and carry out standard format OS X Extended (Journaled). Name it whatever you want.







Quit Disk Utility and proceed with the installation as usual.



After the installation, the machine will begin to restart, hold the OPTION button to boot into the USB settings, select as follow



Select your Mac, click on the Patch options in accordance your computer, in the Select Volume select the drive you just installed then click Patch



After running the patch, click Reboot
