Playstation 4 Neo may be released before November 24th, with higher specs

As claimed by Kenny Linder, a former employee of Sony, the enhanced version Playstation 4 Neo (PS4 Neo) will be widely sold before Thanksgiving. In addition, he also disclosed that this product's specifications might be bumped up in order to satisfy requirements from gaming studios.

There is a rumor that the launching event of PS4 Neo will take place on September 9th in New York, just like what Sonny has done to the previous version of PS4. Leaked document also provided information about PS4 Neo's specs as below:
  • CPU: Jaguar, 8 cores@2.1 Ghz
  • GPU: 36 Compute Units at 911 Mhz
  • RAM: 8GB GDR5 at 218 GB/s
It is said that all Playstation 4 titles developed in this October will support Playstation 4 Neo and even the former version, which make it reasonable to think Playstaion 4 Neo will be unveiled in September and sold in November.

Kenny Linder's disclosure is quite reliable cause right now he is working at a gaming studio which cooperates with Sonny in developing games for PS4. He said that all information above was from a document that Sonny sent to his studio. Linder was also the first to share that that The Last Guardian was moved from PlayStation 3 to PlayStation 4.

Kenny Linder then made people who are interested more curious by stating that PlayStation 4 Neo's specifications weren't the last decision. They may be increased, especially in Ram, due to requirements from party studios.

However, all of those were just rumors which have not been officially verified by Sonny. The only way to know for sure is to wait until this September 9th, of course.
