Supermeat is a project run by Indiegogo, with aim to supply pork, beef, chicken and other kinds of meat without killing animals. This is regarded as a good news for not only vegetarians but other people. Normally, domestic animals are raised then killed for meat. This project was first started with moral purposes and now it is to solve starvation throughout the world.
Supermeat makes real meat by growing cells replicated in a bioreactor. For example, with only a sample of chicken thigh, this machine will make 25,000 more partials after a month-long process. To emphasize, those chicken thighs are real, not synthetic meat. We do not need any additive to make them taste “like chicken”.
The first phrase of the project succeeded after 2 weeks with a $ 100,000 fund. On the next step, researchers are looking forward to the amount of $500,000, which is used for the experimental version of the machine.
