MacBook Pro 2016 seems to be best famous for Touch Bar, a thin touchscreen strip designed to replace individually reprogrammable Fn keys. To me, Touch Bar is something unimportant. I would buy MacBook Pro 2016 even if there was no Touch Bar.
Design
It is obvious that MacBook Pro 2016 is prettier, thinner and lighter than its predecessors. I'm sure everyone is impressed by these revolutionary changes.
Touch ID
There's also a Touch ID fingerprint sensor built into the power button on the far-right side, which consistently delivered fast, accurate results in my tests. I much prefer it to entering a password or even logging in with an Apple Watch.
Display
I didn't notice it until I bought MacBook Pro 2016. Now I have much more space to work with a resolution of 1680 x 1050 default HiDPI.
Speakers
Speakers of MacBook Pro 2016 is said to be 6 or 9 times better than MacBook Pro Retina's. They provide louder sound with stronger bass, which is not commonly found in a laptop.
To conclude, I highly recommend MacBook Pro 15" 2016 for my good experience with this product, not only because it has Touch Bar. If you would like to upgrade to a prettier, thinner and lighter MacBook, then MacBook Pro 2016 will satisfy you.
In the launching day, it was quite impressive when Touch Bar was first introduced. Some people may consider it as the greatest input ever but from my point of view, it is simply an upgraded row of Fn keys, with new features. I find it useless cause my daily work is about numbers, using programs that do not support Touch Bar. In addition, it is quite complicate to remember places of buttons in different applications. The only thing that I like about this new touchscreen is the function keys brightness up and down, volume up and down, and mute — without causing any headaches.
